What companies are good to work for

I've been with Sears about 6 months. I enjoy the job but the pay is worse then anything I had with even contract security companies. I'm wondering what other retailers pay their LPs as well as which companies also do a good job stopping and prosecuting shoplifters.

I'm sure many people have opinions on which companies are better than others - but please do not judge a company on whether or not they do a good job of stopping and prosecuting shoplifters. Although a necessary function of any well rounded program, it's a very small piece of the whole picture.

That's a tough question I think. I believe that it has alot to do with the type of company & the individual that works there. That being said, I know some people that are working for Sears and they seem to like it. One of my friends just took over as an LPM. I work for Bass Pro Shops and I really do love the job and working there! This is one place where you truly never know what to expect! As for $$$ well, that's another issue for a new thread We won't go there just yet! I do know that I've been told that places like Lowes and maybe Home Depot, pay alot better. But then again I'm sure that "experience" does help to.
