    I lived in the Michigan UP and while not quite -50, Below 0 temps were common in the winter

    Keep trying to explain this to my girlfriend. I have been in 90 degree heat and 90 percent humidity wearing nothing. I have sat in a cool tub of water and still felt miserable.

    At least in the cold, you can add layers.
