Other than public versus private missions, discuss with us the corollaries between the two groups and well as the similarities. What, in your opinion, would go a long way in lessening the distaste many law enforcement agencies have for private security? Some have suggested the police resent the fact private security takes away their chances of off duty employment. In some instances that might be true, but in the majority of cases, law enforcement personnel are stretched so thin when held up to a light you can see through them. How do you assess these problems? I should think more and better training in addition to better personnel screening would be top priorities.
