  • G'day from Sydney Australia

G'day All, my nick is NRM_Oz and I am the National Risk Manager (aka NLPM) for a large fashion house throughout Australia / NZ and Asia. I have (sadly) had over 20 odd years in the industry and worked my way as a 2nd job as a young`un to where I am now through a variety of industries but always in our industry.

Have been fortunate to work in LP, Risk, Investigations, Fraud, uniformed duties, asset protection, VIP / events, CPP, IT security, management and a host of other stuff but my biggest thrill was working with the 2000 Olympic Security Project as the Operations Manager with the largest private security agency. Was booked for Utah 2002 until 9/11 (Sad event for all of us).

G'day to the other Aussies on here and hello to those I know from other sites.

It was a 2nd job to me - but after 10 years it became my industry and now I have hit the peak of my limit so time to move on - hence the move into Risk Mgt due to the need to keep competitive.
