        He thnx

He thnxs for a nice and warm welcome. A very small correction is, however needed.

Wilkommen and Guten morgen are German words and not Dutch

Wilkommen (welcome) is in Dutch welkom

        Gutenmorgen (goodmorning) in Dutch goedenmorgen.

And thank you in Dutch dank u.

And that concludes our Dutch lesson for today

I live in Lelystad. A city about 45 km east from Amsterdam. A town with almost no historie. It excist only for about 25 years and is build in the Flevopolder. A piece of land we took from the see.

        Greetings (groetjes ) Maikel

Oh well, I knew I should have paid more attention to the Dutch girl I was flirting with in London!

            Groetjes Maikel,

Isn't Lelystad where the replica of the Dutch ship-of-the-line Zeven Provincien is?

              Yes sir!

That's right. The are building this ship as we speak. The build also the VOC ship Batavia. This ship is ready and sailing.

The ship you are revering to takes a couple of years to build. They try to do it as authenticly as possible. So old tecniques and handcraft.

I would hope you are on Hoffmann's mailing list for "Detective Tips." Number1 109 and 110 have had some good zingers. With Gerd's blessings I have included lessions learned from his "Tips" pamphlets. It is a good resource.
                Welcome aboard to you,
                Enjoy the day,
                Bill
