Most likely they will engage in a few specific, targeted attacks to maintain plausible deniability. I'm curious about the crane issue; I have no doubt that since we know they install back doors on all their communications equipment, the idea of a "kill switch" in the software of other equipment suddenly isn't as far fetched.
Really nothing we can do - U.S. companies learned nothing from the pandemic, and U.S. consumers still want cheap Chinese goods (and with inflation, can you blame them?). Unfortunately, for all the rhetoric, Biden has very deep ties with China and their money. Getting him to do anything about them is an uphill battle...
