SUMMARY
The position is responsible for design and implementation of Regional security risk management advising region and asset managers on security issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees a regional network of asset security representatives
• Coordinates implementation of crisis management capability in the assigned Region
• Implements the group information protection program in conjunction with other
managers
• Implements an effective fraud risk management capability in the region through a
network of asset Fraud Officers
• Provides assurance on security risk management in the Region, through reviews and
audits
• Represents the company’s interests on national and regional security forums
• Maintains effective liaison with relevant government agencies, law enforcement and
industry bodies
• Maintains an appropriate relationship with selected international security and risk
management consultancies
COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES
• Experience of security risk management at business unit level
• Experience of crisis management planning and training
• Wide international experience of managing in difficult or complex business
environments
• Experience of working/living in Latin America
• Bachelor Degree required
• Postgraduate level degree preferred
• Expert knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices employed in security risk
management
• Expert knowledge of security issues facing the oil and gas industry
• First class communicator with excellent presentational skills
• Fluent English language required
• Portuguese and Spanish language preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, reporting to both line management
and functional management
Travel is 25%-50%
