To support our growing business, we are looking for individuals to complement our team of security analysts and consultants as full-time employees. Our software evaluators work in our accredited labs to conduct standards-guided assessments, such as cryptographic module validations according to FIPS 140-2, and evaluations of commercial-off-the-shelf products according to the Common Criteria.
You will join a diverse, international team of over forty security professionals and contribute to various projects, based on your skill sets and availability. Currently, all available career opportunities are at our headquarters in sunny Austin, Texas.
This position provides opportunities to:
• Analyze the security design and implementation of leading software companies’ products
• Apply and improve your knowledge about applied cryptography and software security architectures
• Work with a variety of information security standards
Position requirements:
• Ability to work methodically and dig into technical questions
• Basic or advanced understanding of general information security concepts and principles, system architectures and development, applied cryptography and key management, and/or biometrics
• Willing to learn new concepts and grow with the company
• General programming and software analytical skills
• Enthusiasm, good customer interface skills, positive attitude, strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), and effective teamwork and technical collaboration skills
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with some emphasis on security
• Flexibility to travel
• Authorized to work legally in the U.S. for any employer without company sponsorship Flexibility to travel
Desired, but not required:
• General knowledge of FIPS 140-2 and/or the Common Criteria, and participation in related projects
