disarming ademco partition from access cntl.

Hi there. This is my first post so I'll try not to embarrass myself.
I need to disarm a partition on an "Ademco" Vista 128 alarm panel from my "Keyscan" ACU4300 access control panel. I'm using the keyswitch input (zone77) on the Ademco, and it needs a 2 second dry contact closure but all I have from my Keyscan is a latched dry contact. So does anybody know what I need to do? Do I have to make a circuit with a 555 timer and a relay or are there products out there to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.
    thanks

This should do the trick. You can configure it for seconds or minutes, trigger the relay on the start or end of timing cycle, etc. Extremely versatile. Available at every security distributor. Probably under $20, don't remember, could be half that.

    Other timer relays from Altronix.
