    Default Loss Prevention Stats

    Mark Doyle of consulting and research firm Jack Hayes Int'l just published a solid look at loss prevention statistics from 2005 based on 24 top retailers' reports. His article and data on the subject is at the following link:

    Anecdotally, what are you experiencing in your own operations? Are you seeing this growing trend in organized retail theft? Are you finding your department focused on quality of cases versus quantity of cases?

    I think the study by Dr. Hollinger's group at the UofF is also a good one.

    The above link takes you to the registration process to receive the report. It is very comprehensive.
