I know there's been some threads on CVS before but I have a specific question. Does anyone know what the difference is between Loss Prevention Specialist and Market Investigator? It appears that market investigators focus on external theft and are responsible for multiple stores, where as Loss Prevention Specialists are assigned to one store and have other functions in addition to apprehensions. This is just a guess from reading the descriptions, but if anyone has a definitive answer from experience please let me know. Thanks!

From what I know the market investigators are assigned multiple stores. The specialists are at 1 store. I do know CVS contracts out some of their LP positions with USSA out here, but believe the market positions are actual CVS employees. I'm sure Caparuto could add more to this.Sergeant Phil Esterhaus: "Hey, let's be careful out there.."
