It's been awhile since my last post, I am about to retire from my service with the government and enter into the private sector with a very well run company that has opened many doors for myself and others with me. We have a friend who is very successful into Security Operations with big name malls, and Executive Protection, long term contracts, in fact, one is nine years and running. After being rostered with said company which I will keep private and show discretion on a open forum, I have been busy as all hell. We have been classing up many operational classes, qualifying with our side arms.
Anyhoo, I work as a shift supervisor for a property group that has all the big name retailers in the business, Walmart, Lowe's, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, Bank of America, BJ's, Macy's, Cracker Barrel, ect, ect..A good gig.
The next remaining five days I have been working a Protective /Executive detail at a well name venue that is busy all week with the Performing Arts, we operate the venue from parking, lobby, stage and dressing rooms, we're hired as protection for the performers and artist from the parking entrance, before the show, during the show, and afterwards following the performers who do a meet and greet with the fans, donors, and alumni. After all the personnel has left for the evening, (12:00) or later depending on the gig, our job is done for the night. The money and the Bennie's are decent, the job is fantastic, and we 're on our way. Oh, one more tibit, the place closes for one month in July, and operates full time the rest of the calendar year, not too shabby, me thinks. So moving forward, any of you younger guys who might have some questions feel free to fire away.Thank you
Pops

EP and Protective Services..
Pop Pop - It reminds me of an old statement by my Master Sergeant. "A Good Run is better then a Bad Stand".
Sec Trainer - Pop Pop: Hope you don't mind if I quote your Master Sergeant. He was a very smart man.
Pop Pop - Yes Sir, Thank you Senior Instructor Sec Trainer, hope you don't mind if I place your quote into my Signature?
Sec Trainer - Permission granted, recruit. Now, police the company area!

Thank you
