Some mention that SEIU strike in MN is caused by OC forcing everyone to go 'part-time', but isn't that still 2014?
Wouldn't there be much more of that across more industries?
I hear some vagueness about how your employer must provide you with a "plan" that meets certain levels of coverage "or else". Who and how is that going to be sorted out? Who certifies a given plan as being OC approved?
Will lots of formerly full timers go to two part time jobs?

Its still being worked out. I can tell you that for individual Americans there is a consequence - when you file your next year's personal income tax form you'll pay a fine if every member of your household doesn't have health insurance of some sort - through work, public assistance or the "exchanges" that will be set up this year.
Companies that think they're going to save money by turning all their employees into part timers aren't fully understanding the plan ( and at 900 pages +, who does?). I work for a fairly small co. and the only change we've been told about is we will have to contribute more to our insurance. (On the other hand, maybe they're saving the announcement for the week before Christmas - the time when, one year, they let a whole department go and outsourced. Classy...)

Here's an answer from the WSJ

Maybe they can relax the "conflict of interest" laws in my state and you can work ten hours a week for 4 different guard companies. Sheesh...
