Default How long does the florida class g firearm license take to process?

Hey everyone. Im new to this forum and I wanted to get some info on this subject because I can't really find it anywhere else. Ive had my class d security license for a while now and i just sent out my G license on the 9th of this month at the dept. of agr. Building in miami. Money order and finger print card. The lady at the front desk said 30-90 days but I have asked coworkers how long theirs took and they range from 8days to a week. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

60-90 days is their standard answer at the DOL. Will it take that long? Depends on your background check and how much they have to weed through (how many different states you've lived in, time abroad, etc). It might be done within 30 days. Cheers!

You're welcome. Yes, I've had mine since '06. It took almost 90 days for mine but, the background investigation personnel weren't as plentiful then, as they are now. The Division of Licensing has hired a lot of people in the last few years.
