We currently are using the WinDSX software and hardware for access control in our facility. We've implemented a lock down badge, that, when swiped, will latch all selected doors until the unlock badge is passed by proxy reader.
Now, here's the issue: on our doors, we also have motion sensors that de-energize the magnets, allowing exit.
Question: is there anyway to have these motion sensors inactivated when this linking group has been activated preventing the door to be unlocked just by someone happening to walk pass it?
Any information I'm missing?

REX device with a Maglock
What you are missing is approval from the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Depending on your building code, you may not be allowed to disable the motion detector. The AHJ has a dim view of anything that locks people in a building
. An alternative, if you have a door that swings out, and AHJ aproval, is to replace the motion sensor with an egress Request To Exit (REX) bar. Check out what IR says about using REX devices on a mag lock: http://w3.securitytechnologies.com/P...s/default.aspx
