This would not be my first resource to use in terms of a formal project but hoping to find further contacts primarily in the Retail Security front. This is for senior line level managers or those who have held the position since September 11, 2001. If your interested in providing information I would need further personal contact information; your company, position and full name. I would be happy to provide mine also in exchange. The information is needed to correctly and formally cite the response through the APA process. The questions are below and I hope to gather first hand experience as it relates in the field, successful concepts in which managers have carried out in hopes of decreasing a industry epidemic, turnover and providing advance training to Officers.
Q1. How can Security Managers mitigate the cost of turnover in the retail security industry?
Q2. What risks are security officers exposed to in the retail industry?
Q3. What risk reduction strategies can be utilized in the retail security industry?
Q4. Can training for identified risks reduce turn over?
Q5. Will the typical budget allowed for security departments adapt to the needs of advance training if long term retention can be achieved?
If you do not wish to post your answers here please feel free to private message me. I'm newly registered but have followed the forums since entering my Security Management Degree Path at American Military University.
