UOF policies vary by company and state. Depending on the post orders and your mission actaccordingly. Deploying OC, baton strike against a combatant is alot safer than going blow for blow. At any time this SO could've got shot/stabbed if the guy had it on him.

I've seen this video before... the "officer" had plenty of opportunity to retreat. I'll leave it at that.

This video has been out awhile. The guard is a trained MMA fighter. The bad guy certainly held his own, but had the fight lasted longer, I have no doubt the guard would have done some real damage.

He would have whooped my ass. I would of had to use various tools of the trade and still probabally would come out on the short end of the stick

I assume the OP is talking about the security guard, with the question. And no, however I wouldn't have went into hand to hand combat with him either. First time I see someone get into the type of stance he did and the movements that he made, I would have a very good hunch that I have some sort of professional fighter on my hand and the ending of the fight might not be considered fair.

I've seen this video before. I'd like to see the confrontation that occurred before the video started. That looks like they were both already committed to the fight.
