I prefer in-house security over a contract company.

Congressional Research Services published a research paper on the effectiveness of private security contractors in the use of securing DoD facilities, state side. The findings showed that private security personnel were as effective as military and civilian LE personnel and more cost effective in securing military facilities. I am trying to find the paper again and will post a link in the thread.
