OK, I'm in Jamaica, Queens New York. I've visited 3 hotels. All Security staff are working plain clothed, not even with a name tag. I've gone up to 2 of them & asked them if they were Security Oficers. Both gave me the same answer: The were Fire & Safety Officers, However after speaking to them at lenght they admitted they were Security Officers. (Called themselves Loss Prevention Officers). I was wondering if it could be because New York requires Security Guards to wear uniforms or have other id showing that they are secuirty. Does anyone know what the regulations are in this matter in New York City?

I enforce rules and regulations, not laws.
