hey. Does anyone know of a company that makes a decent duty holster for a S&W Sigma SW40VE? I understand this is not a top-of-the-line handgun, but it was a gift, I am quite accurate with it, and I cannot afford another handgun at the moment.
I have checked with Safariland, but don't know many other companies. Thanks for any and all help![]()

Few Suggestions
I don't personally own this gun but here are a few suggestions for holsters for this gun:
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/50138
http://www.amazon.com/Holster-Pouch-...m/B000VY94R0/2

I know of nicer ones but they obviously cost a bit more. Based on your message I get the impression you are looking for something a little more on the cheap side.

Thank you for your suggestions. I am looking for a holster that will work as a duty holster (I already have the other accessories). I realize I will need to shell out some money for a decent holster, but I can't afford to go buy a Glock or Sig, Beretta, etc. Plus still buy a holster

Kydex, molded nylon or leather? Plain or basketweave finish? What retention level?
For a basic Level I retention there's this:
http://www.triplek.com/Products/id/38/grp/4/prd/336/
There is also www.galls.com and www.qmuniforms.com, but Gall's doesn't have specific gun listings for the models available, and Quartermaster's holsters you need to click "select" on each one to see if your Sigma .40 fits...
Then again there's this...
http://www.uniformswarehouse.com/pro...t-Weave/Detail
I can't vouch for the quality, but I will add that UAW is known for selling Chinese made ripoffs of more well known brand name equipment...

I guess I could have been more descriptive lol. I prefer leather or synthetic. I'm not a huge kydex / plastic fan, I'd like some similar to the safariland holsters that were popular with most major P.D's until all these plastic ones came out.

Thanks flashlight. I emailed Safariland because what is listed to fit, doesn't, and I have a $120+ holster I can't use. Those Kirkpatrick's look pretty good, Ill have to check them out.

Safariland customer service emailed me yesterday. They apparently have 4 different holsters that will fit my Sigma... Ebay here I come.
