    Default $30+/hour....plus benefits...to guard garbage?

this must be going around telling aluminum can collectors to GTFO of everyone's recycling bin because they make a mess.

I gotta admit, I like the hours, but these sort of jobs are normally already reserved for some city-suckup like family of council member and the ad is just a formality.

Or at the very least you need to have been 'volunteering' at every city event and kissing a lot of backside.

Looks legit, but you're right - the pay seems a bit high, unless its union. I'm wondering what else is involved that isn't in the ad. Part of it may be that you're issuing citations, so like the parking enforcement officer there is risk of physical confrontation and a lot of verbal guff.

Concord was kind of an odd area when I was down there many moons ago - you've got sections that are "working class" and others that are definitely for the 1%. I know a lot of the rich crowd send their kids to the two private Catholic high schools in town. So you may be dealing with desperate crack heads, or maybe some Ph.D. down on his luck and under water on his $500,000 mortgage...
