hi i am working in a building at the moment with key fobs on the doors however it is not a key fob which opens them it seems to be a standard magstripe card "ie creditcard" i am fairly familiar with both technologies and cannot figure out how this works . i have emailed the manufacture but they aint forecoming with info and was wondering if anyone here had experiance with this type of accesss control and could shed some light on it for me. thanks

I don't really understand the type of system you have. I have mag stripe operated locks at 2 of my hotels & RFID operated ones. They can be opened with RFID cards & fobs.
I enforce rules and regulations, not laws.

Where is here? This technology has been available for many years.

your keyfobs are used like a Weigand card, and the reader is a standard weigand reader
