    Default Deadly Week for Security

    http://privateofficerbreakingnews.bl...-security.html

Also, a member of my companys LP staff was shot to death escorting an employee to her car. The family will be filing suit as the company did not provide the proper training or safeguards to the LP. They say the company knew of the risk and put him in the situation anyway without the tools or training. The killer was her estranged boyfriend.

    Stay safe.

This is very unfortunate and I'm sure it will be an interesting case. I'm looking for a news article on this and I can't find one.

I think I fixed the link. The family of the LP says the company knew her estranged boyfriend was violent and in the area and all they did was have the LP escort the employee vs calling the police.

New procedure until further notice from our legal team is to notify mall security and the local police of the threats and concerns and to have either or assist the store team in escort.

This is why I will never work unarmed unless I'm doing crowd control at a concert were I'm constantly jumping into piles of fighting people all night. Any company that forces any of their Officer to work without adequate personal protection should be held liable to the fullest extent if said Officer is harmed in any way. UNREAL!

could you elaborate on why you'd only want a vest unless you were working a concert?
