    Post What We do

Here is a short poll that covers what we do. For those concerned with OPSEC don't tell us what you do or where you do it. Just answer the question and we'll see what the numbers tell us.

    Question:
    Where do you do?

    Answers:
    Unarmed, uncleared position
    Armed, uncleared position
    Unarmed, cleared position
    Armed, cleared position

    Security Clearance?
"Alright guys listen up, ya'll have probably heard this before, Jackson vs. Securiplex corporation; I am a private security officer, I have no State or governmental authority. I stand as an ordinary citizen. I have no right to; detain, interrogate or otherwise interfere with your personal property-... basically all that means is I'm a cop."-Officer Ernie

Sorry for the confusion folks ..... a cleared person has a security clearance and works at a site that has national security implications in your country. This can be in just about any country that uses contract or proprietary security. This can be a military base, defense contractor, power generating facility, chemical plant and so forth. If you have a clearance you know it. If you are asking what one is, then you probably don' have one.

An uncleared person is doesn't have a clearance and can work just about anywhere .... a hotel, a resort, a store, a mall, a private community, an office building and the like.

One of my sites is a major harbor here which is thus subject to ISPS international regulations, though wouldn't necessarily called "cleared" as all the ISPS stuff seems to be a fancy name for what is basically the same as regular access control.
