Washington state officially privatized hard liquor sales on June 1st. The state no longer runs liquor stores; you can buy all kinds of alcohol at your local chain grocery store or Costco.

I'm curious if any other WA security people have noticed an increase in alcohol related offenses on your sites. We've seen an increase, but typically all offenses go up on our site when the weather warms up and the colleges start going on summer break.

I'd also like to hear from other S/Os in states where liquor sales went from being state controlled to private sellers. In our state supposedly the taxes from sales will go to more liquor control agents and DUI enforcement, but the state is so broke I seriously doubt it.
