I hate trutv and think all the shows are staged. I was flipping through the channels and saw "caught red handed" about loss prevention. Those two guys make us in LP look like goons. Has anyone seen the show?

Interesting, last week I was contacted by a TV show to be a "technical adviser" on just this type of TV show - I declined.

The show, just like Operation Repo and all the other towing shows is a fake. The shoplifters are actors. The two "LP agents" might be legit, but all of the shoplifters are actors. There's even a YouTube video from one of the "shoplifters" explaining her "performance" on the show. It's ridiculous. I always wanted to see a show about loss prevention, but I wanted it to be real. This is ridiculous and you're right, the two "lp agents" make the industry look terrible.
