I'm not sure if anyone is following the Roethlisberger sexual assault incident, but this past week it was reported that two off-duty police officers where with Roethlisberger when the alleged assault took place.
From what I can tell, they were workin in a security capacity, but both were known friends of Big Ben so the lines between protection/buddy probably got a bit murky.
Either way, this is a bad/good example of how a protection agent should keep his client out of bad situations and at times, protect the clients from their own destructive behavior.

What's your point about the security being off duty police? It appears you mentioned it only to take a stab at law enforcement. I've got news, it is an alleged crime. However, the greatest act of domestic terrorism ever commited was committed by a former security guard. That's right Timothy Mcveigh worked as a security officer and he held a CCW permit. Clean up your own house before you start with others.
Stay Safe.

I must ask...what the heck are you talking about?
I mentioned they were off-duty police, because that's exactly what they were...off-duty police. If they were off-duty grape pickers or off-duty circus clowns I would have mentioned it as well, but I doubt that's as relevant as having two police officers present during an alleged assualt, huh? How you sequed that into Timothy McVeigh is bizarre, to say the least. It would be fascinating to see you take a roshak test, because you seem to have quite the imagination.
Clean up my own house? Why don't you clearify that, because I surely didn't attack anyone, especially law enforcement. And if you would re-read my post, I specifically state that the assault is "alleged", so you don't need to educate anyone with your "news."
If you hadn't notice, this is a section for executive protection, so I think two off-duty police working in a security capacity for a high-profile athlete certainly falls into that category, do you not?
Also, regardless if the assault took place or not, it's nearly a consensus that Big Ben is guilty of poor judgment and decision making, hence my comment about how this is a good example of how EP agents sometimes need to protect their client from themselves.
If you think that merely mentioning that off-duty police were with Big Ben when this situation occured is a "stab at law enforcement", then you need to grow up and deal with it.

exec You and i have not seen eye to eye on many things. I agree how ever i did not see this as a stab at law-enforcement. Exec's point seemed to be that part of your job as a professional EP is to sometimes protect your client form him self, preventing the opportunity for accusations like this from occurring.
that's what i got out of it.
