Take a look at this position. I've never seen this agency before.

I saw that on USAJOBS and thought it was quite interesting, too. I'm not close enough to retirement though to put in a serious application.

Why is it interesting? The only interesting thing I see is that its a Federal Employee series 0085 Security Guard position. The Federal Government outsources most security guard duties to private companies.

I personally think it's interesting because of the fact that I've been religiously browsing

USAJobs since '05 and this is the first time I've seen these positions announced. Does

anyone know anything about these positions? I'm wondering if these positions were

created as a reaction to 9/11.

Lawson,

The announcement was for a Security Guard position with the International Boundry &

Water Commission. There still is a Supervisory Security Guard position posted.
