At least that's what everyone down here seems to be on the verge of doing. The reason? Snow in Alabama.
That's right ladies and gentlemen, there will be snow in Alabama tomorrow. According to the all knowing, all seeing weather prognosticators on tv the white stuff is supposed to start sometime after midnight and will continue to snow through Thursday late afternoon.
Our projected total: 1 to 3 inches!!
From my perspective the real trouble won't start until the snow has stopped. There are no snow plows here, so we will be driving on hard packed snow and a little ice. The closest snowplow is owned by TDOT and is somewhere neer Murfreesboro.
Now I don't mind the snow, slush or even a little ice. After living in Germany, NH, VT, MA and in Flagstaff, AZ driving in the winter becomes second nature. But these other {insert derogatory comment here} don't even know what they are doing in heavey rains. I can't wait to see what they do in snow. :D
