ATLANTA - Atlanta police have made an arrest in an attempted robbery and shooting.
Authorities said Wednesday night, a security guard at a McDonald's confronted an armed man at the restaurant on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.
Detectives said the security officer was shot twice and exchanged fire with the suspect, who was also shot, and then captured a few blocks away.
Both men were taken to Grady. Police said the suspect is in critical condition.
