I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of finding out about the legality of BPV's for Michigan. I have been looking with no success. I would like to be able to wear a bullet proof vest while on duty, especially in the housing project I patrol due to the high crime rate as well as the shootings that have taken place in the area.

I hope your not an investigator of any sort. This wasn't hard to find at all. Took about 6 seconds and a single entry in the search bar.

Seems a "Doctor" would be able to use a search feature.

Not just whether you can legally do it either. Make sure your employer allows it. Mine specifically said no body armor.

I can understand O/R places not wanting their guards to have an aggressive look. Some sites I was at though I was definitely not comfortable doing observe and report at. And I did secure new employment.

Some "Doctorates" are in title only besides why be sarcastic to a new member anyway?
