As I posted in my initial thread I work for CapitalPlus (http://www.capitalplus.com), an AR financing company that offers working capital for invoices (http://www.capitalplus.com).

Our process is simple and hassle free, and the turn around time on initial funding is 3-5 days. If you have already done business with us, turn around time is SAME DAY!

If any of you own or work for a small to middle-sized private security business and need to generate better cash flow (http://www.capitalplus.com), please feel free to contact me using one of the following:

email - beck@capitalplus.com

phone - (866)227-7587
private message - I think you all know how to do this :)

Factoring AR's is certainly a viable source of operating cash sometimes, depending on cost relative to other sources. In my experience, factoring is usually fairly pricey relatively speaking, but cost can be controlled by using it judiciously (timing, and which AR accounts you factor), which requires doing accurate cash flow projections and using factoring along with other methods and sources of controlling cash.

You are absolutely right. As in any business financing, planning, budgeting and timing are critical. Factoring your receivables can be a valuable growth tool, especially in our current economy where banks have tightened up tremendously.

Here is an interesting video about factoring receivables.

If any of you are interested please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
