Here's the job description:
Title: Industrial Security Rep
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay: $19-27/hr
Length: Full-time, Permanent Placement
Company Summary:
Develops and produces Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Efficient Electric Energy Technologies
Position Description:
· Administrative duties such as record keeping, filing, processing visitor request, updating various spread sheets, and security databases, along with the JPAS system, and other assigned duties.
· Industrial Security Rep will be responsible for conducting ITAR briefings, and new hire orientation.
· Will take an active part in visitor control and ensure security procedures are being followed.
· Assist with ITAR compliance and interface with the government (DSS) and program management to ensure compliance with security regulations.
· Industrial Security Rep will study and learn the NISPOM and other government regulations that apply to industrial security.
Qualifications / Background:
· Effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational and proven multi-tasking ability.
· A successful Industrial Security Rep candidate shall have the capability and demonstrated successful experience in performing industrial security activities to include the JPAS system.
· Working knowledge and application of security principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
· Successful completion of Essentials of Industrial Security Management course, high school diploma or equivalent.
· U.S. Citizenship
· 2 - 4 years experience in an organization that provides security support to a federal entity or private corporation in a classified environment.
· Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for on-going access to classified information.
