Okay, so with the wee wifey laid off, and OT coming under massive scrutiny, I'm looking for some sort of part-time gig in my area.
- Must do dual-licensing
- Not Securitas (they don't let you work for 2 companies)
- Not Pierce County/Pacific Coast (no duals)
- Not SecureTrans (only looking for screeners, whic is on the days I work now)
- Not AmeriSec or whatever that company is (no duals)
Don't really care armed vs. unarmed, high vis, proact vs. Sit-In-Your-Car gigs.
Haves:
Cop experience, armed and unarmed guard experience, management experience
Armed license, with certs for baton, OC, CPR, AED, 1st Aid, etc
GSA White card, USDOT cleared (NACI)
Own weapon for armed
Tons of duty gear/uniform stuff if needed
A sick amount of training
Ideas?

SecureTrans is hiring for the US Marshals detail as well, I believe. It's not regular P/T...it's on-call. It's good when it's available. You must have sworn experience, which you state that you do. . . . PM me for details.... --K.

Also, check the school districts. Usually they're hiring for summer school around this time. They'll recruit from current employees first, typically, then possibly open up to external applicants. I believe Puyallup School District and Federal Way Public Schools are hiring subs. Expect to make anywhere from $15.00-$25.00 (more or less) as a school security officer. Most districts work unarmed.... --K.

I should put out publically what I told KC in a PM- only looking for PT, someone that'll be willing to schedule me so i can work around my family stuff. No on-call stuff.

What he didn't mention is I am also hiring a couple of patrol guys. We can be pretty flexible with scheduling. I have a patrol job that KC works on (not Marshal's), and another patrol detail. Let me know what your availability is and I bet we can come up with something.

Apparently Securitas allowing you to work for two companies depends on the branch, my area sup just resigned from supervisor to part time and also works for Aris at SOCOM. I'm finding out alot about this company that I don't like. Actively looking in the meantime.
Be safe.
