Anyone here use it? Can anyone tell me anything about it, good, bad, ugly?

Very easy system to work with... has all the basics for NVR... nothing special on processing of the video... typical overpriced gadget from Panasonic.
Here is the datasheet: ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/pub/Panasonic/business/security/WJ-ND400_2A-036L.pdf

Thanks. I am planning on installing/programming one, and I wanted to know how hard they are to figure out. I did the iPro training, but that was a while ago.

For external storage, i am using this device. It's easy to setup, solid as can be, web based interface, and if you have software that already controls your cameras ( such as Avigilon that i use) its a really cost effective way to store data.
It uses standard network cable, so theres no esata cards or cable lengths to worry about, and i have to say for the 2k we paid for 8 TB ( i use RAID 5 with a global spare, and bay 8 as an extra) unless 3 drives fail at once, i will never suffer data loss.

It comes in 4, 8 and 16 bay versions
