This position is responsibile for assisting the government security office and managers in security policies and as a techincal authoring on assignments requiring the application of methods, processes, technology or procedures for the protection of personnel, facilities and mission. This position will conduct AT/AF assessments, write recommendataions for risk management decisions.
Standard Job Description Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Security Clearance Top Secret/Special Security Requirements
Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
