We are looking for a wireless elevator camera solution. Have tried a few but they are generally very unreliable. We found this site http://www.wirelesselevatorcamera.com any one try this product yet? They claim it will work up to 200 floors(yeah right) there is a demo of a live elevator but I think that it is pre-recorded.

Any help would be greatly appreciated we are bidding on a 12 elevator project and would like some kind of a reliable solution.

Thank you

LOL You wouldn't happen to sell this would you. Remember you are on a sight where most things observed are not what they seem to be. It's what we do for a living:) Even if you are no matter just curious since it is one of the things that I don't ever remember anyone looking for and your post is number one. And that clip was made two days ago.Hmmm. Anyway even if you do and all you say is correct it looks like you have a good product there Good luck.

Thank youThis is interesting - you're bidding on a project and just now looking for elevator cameras? The only wireless camera I have used for an elevator - I built myself.

This is not the first time someone has tried to spam the site this way. If you would like to try again - try the Vendor forum. That's what it's there for.

Before I watched the video I was thinking the only reliable way for it to work was a transmitter above the elevator car and a receiver at the top of the shaft. And sure enough looks like that's what they did. It would work underneath too, but then you have to get the camera wire to the transmitter under, but it could be done. Of course you have to get the power off the elevator car.

Nice, but not rocket science.

BTW, shouldn't this be in the cctv section.
