View Full Version : Looking for Armed Security Company MN

Like the title says. I haven't seen any companies that have armed officers here in MN except for Armor Transport guys. Anyone know of any companies? Thanks.

Try GSSC (Bloomington), Avalon Security (Brooklyn Park), Wolf Protective Agency (Coon Rapids). Wackenhut is hiring at the Monticello Nuclear plant on Dec 16 & 18, but you better have a good armed security resume.

I've heard a few bad things about GSSC and LOTS of bad things about Avalon and heard that Wackenhut is a good company but the plant is too far from me. :(

I was going to try Wolf but their hours arent steady.

Sounds like your are kind of picky. If you are serious about Armed security take whatever job you can get right now cause nobody is hiring. What company are you at right now?

I recently heard from a Nuke Plant-Excel Energy employee, that Excel is in the process of going in house with their security force. May be be worth checking into if this change over is taking place.

The guy I know works at Monticello. Sorry, I can't address any ? about Prairie Island.
