I have a job interview for LPA on monday, and my question is what would the hourly pay rate be? I've worked for Acme Markets for 4 yrs as a meat dept clerk and have dealt with doing inventory, and daily throwout logs. I'm fully aware what shrink is, and have been trained about how to prevent it. I left there making $11.00 an hour, but was only part time (like 30-35 hrs a wk.)

I've worked as a full time casino security guard (for the past yr.) at 11.00 hr, due for a 50 cent raise this mo. (40 hrs a wk). On k-mart's site it said the pay went from 9.65-11 starting.

So if i were to get hired, do u think it's likely that they'd start me off at 11? The LPM I spoke to on the phone told me of all the locations they are hiring for (FT and PT). The one K-Mart that he mentioned is a high risk store (because its in a ghetto area), and i'd like to work there because i'd probably have more to do and i heard that high risk stores pay more.

I rather have a job in LP than casino security because there's more opportunities out there for LP then casino security, and the turnover rate for casino security where i work at is unbelievable.

Thanks :)

Does K-Mart use a surviellance system or do they rely on a floor-walker? I went into the ghetto k-mart today and they had a guy at the door checking everyone's bags and receipts as they left. Is that standard procedure at k-mart or is it only because it's a high risk store?
