Is it me or is the iCodes, [i.e. the IFC], depriving the NFPA of it's effeteness as a balanced and far fire code?

Could you elaborate? I'm not sure what you're getting at. But more jurisdictions seem to be adopting IFC. But they seem more complimentary than contradictory. We actually have to follow both, here. Seems the code book sellers are behind that one.

The iCode still seems redundant and full of loop holes that building owners exploit and providers are exposed too... guess I just do not like the idea of conflicting codes when it comes to fire and life safety.

Besides, the iCodes more often than not spends all of its time referencing NFPA codes.

Or made it's just that I'm still haven't gotten over it's premature release... lone before the code was ready for everyday use.

Who knows maybe it's just me!

Anyway, I trust all will have a safe and fun filled holiday!
