These people just offerd me a job. They need people to work government buildings. They look like a pretty big outfit. I am seriously considering it. You have to have a security clearence for most of thier jobs.
I checked out there website. Looks like a decent outfit.

I've never heard of em. That may or may not be a good thing, especially if they weren't around till 2005 (When I left)...

Indeed. But I guess you can't swim unless you get wet. You could drown too. But then, I am already drowning with the outfit I am with now.

Oh, I have heard of these guys. I just didn't consider them a security position. They were at Tampa International as skycaps when I flew out.

After some research I have came to find out they are utilizing over lapping shifts to take care of some work loads on a few federal sites. They are not guaranteed permanent positions nor are the shifts despite being 40 hours a week with some decent pay. They are not offering any normal standardized shift positions right now just additional over lapping ones. I am thinking about declining their offer unless they can convince me of something concrete. Though the company I am with right now is taking on water. I would rather risk staying on board with them than being tossed over board by another company after just getting on. Once I leave this job there is no safety net.

Doesn't look good on the resume when you leave one job, go to another, then leave that a month later.

It’s too bad really. It’s an interesting looking job with good pay. But they said there is the posibility that I could end up being transferred, relocated or having a shift change as they see fit in the event it’s needed after this extra work load problem slacked off. I had been given the impression it was a steady day permanent position. They have only a couple of security contracts that are local to me in Florida while the others are over a 100 miles away or more. HR was so cryptic about this job it took a week of prodding and prying to get some answers. They have yet sent me any information on what any benefits are. And even what information I got was like pulling teeth. When they hire people excepting them to blindly take the job with out explanations or details it’s usually a sign of the WBC syndrome. No matter what they pay or proclaim to be high end. And there are way too many of these in my area as it is.

I have never heard of these folks, and based on what your saying they might not be a very good outfit. Piece of advice, though I am biased at this, if you want a great security job look at Boeing, or any of the other aerospace companies. I know with Boeing we have several sites in Florida including cape canaveral (though Im not sure if we provide any security there) as well as surrounding states. Might even be worth moving for. Based on what you said I would personally turn down their job offer. If their communication is this bad to a prespective employee, imagine how they treat their real employees
