What, if any, training do you have in the EP field? Sounds like you want enjoy the benefits of working "halls and walls" for the pretty people. My background is extensive I have over 27yrs in the security industry I have miltary experince,(USMC) EMT experince and personal protection training that's including law enforcement experince(Sherrif Dept), and I've done several tours of armed tactical security most recently hurricane Ike in Texas. The reason I would like to work on a security team is that I know this is a very realistic way for me to get into the game and if I need to stand in the hallways no problem somebody got to do it! It's not what kind of job you are assigned too it's how you go about doing that job. I've worked for several companies and I feel I've paid my dues and still paying. So I don't just want to enjoy the perks I know me I will work hard in as in training I take nothing for granted. Staying busy Is my goal! Protect With Honor

Your resume is impressive, but not necessarily to EP work. In what state are you? Have you worked on any person protection or EP teams, or even one man assignments. Specifically what type of training do you have? What did you do in the Corp? What have you done, specifically, to "pay your dues"?
I ask not to challange you. I am pretty tied into the Texas Personal Protection industry and with answers might be able to stear you in the right direction. Feel free to PM me if you would rather keep the info private.
Oh yeah, Thank you for your service to our great country!

I don't have a problem with sharing any info with you I have nothing to hide, and yes I've work on several EP teams in the past and yes I have work the one man assigments too! One of the companies that I worked with is usresponse group. I also have some psd training not enough to my liking but I do. In the marines my mos was 0311, infantry The questions is not if I'm made for ep work it's making the right connections my biggest set back is I'm very quiet to a fault I;m not that strong when it comes to net-working but I'm learning, that's why I'm sharing with you. My e-mail address is leartis10@yahoo.com If you would like to we can communicate through e-mail I do take this very seriously and I won't quit until I get this done I don't have a problem traveling not at all "my motto is have Passport will travel!"

[QUOTE=SFDocBartman;78422]Former Marine - Hummmm - shouldn't be a problem - check out [url]www. Security is something I live for it's what i do now I'm looking to take it to another level. I've seen in the news papers were you some 600lbs bald person with no clue what personal protection is about beating the hell out of some news person doing there job, but these are the people working and people like myself aren't! I don't mind training I have tons of info on PSD and i'm always asking myself what if ? I figure that's a good question to ask one self it's something I pick up from doing advance work, anyway it also applys to me. What if I was better at net-working? I do believe that I have something to offer. Thank-you for letting me vent. Protect With Honor!

One thing I can tell you about my network - is we VET personnel. You can always get PSD work with Blackwater and end up with 20 y/o kids that were Kmart Guards - not with out boys - you will get true MARINES, SF, SEALS and other decent units to work with. Of course if you are just looking to stay here in the States and local - it is still a different market for sure. One of the larger companies here in WA State - told me and a few of our boys we were a bit over-qualified for EP/PSD etc around here. HA.. After seeing a few of them - they were 100% right.
Up to you my brother
