Interesting video. How long do you think this will remain up?

Tactical, are you a star in any of these tapes? Some of the take downs were pretty poor.

I'm just upset they used Nickelback, and Fall Out Boy for the background music. Needs more Metallica!

I fear for the liability involved in this video's release. However I have to say it was well done and a nice intro to our world.

Security is not supposed to cost more than it saves. I hope the store that had the 5 or 6 uniformed guys (the ones that pointed guns at a shoplifter) earn their keep. 5 or 6 for a store & I work alone in a 25 floor hotel

Judging by the different uniforms, tactics, and armament - I am guessing the seven guys taking that one out inside the store (That was at tazerpoint, not gunpoint) were cops.

About three times a year I have a ton of cops swarm my store to pick up someone who is wanted.

The other take down in the store looked like security, but I have no idea why he would be doing that kind of take down inside.

The guys in uniform with the round patches are Local LE. The guys with the blockier patches are called TPS or Target Protection Specialists. They support APS (Asset Protection Specialists) in Target Stores. TPS are not allowed to make arrests on their own, only to assist a plainclothes specialist or manager.

I thought while this movie was well made some of the stops were scary.
My thought is that if you ID yourself and grab these lifters at the same time you are opening yourself up to a bad situation. I am hard of hearing in my left ear due to my time in the military. While I am of course, not a criminal, if you grab my arm and start dragging me into a store without taking the time to fully introduce yourself then I will most definately give you a fight.

The agents under my supervision would be issued stern disciplinary action for just grabbing people.

Title of video "Target Security" and it is still up as of tonight. Once it is out, will Target be able to get it down?

And what of the employees who released this? Surely Target isn't condoning this, so much liability in the video.

That was a really cool video. But, I do agree, they shouldn't be posting that on the web.
