I have been tasked now with installing the computers and the avigilon http://www.avigilon.comsoftware into our existing CCTV system. With 48 cameras, and the fact that my boss wants to use 4 port encoders, 2 multi drive storage bays for remote storage, and the cabling and such involved in this, i need to find alternate companies to give me quotes on what they would charge to do these things.

We currently use Electronic Control Systems, and i need to find 3 more places to get quotes from. With all the knowledge here i thought someone in the san diego county area would have a suggestion.

My companies zip code is 92121. any recommendations?

First I would ask the manufacturer. Second, you want a full service security company, not an alarm company, but that's semantics. Third, you don't want a big national chain, if you want good service, and technically qualified people.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone out there. I could travel though, if you got the money. The problem you may run into, is if you've already got the equipment. Expect to pay a premium on labor, and time & material instead of a bid, since they won't be making profit off the equipment.
