I think this is good news (http://cctvcameraman.blogspot.com/2008/06/ip-video-market-may-or-may-not-suck.html). What do you think?

I look at it both ways.
The good: IP video (Day/night) does not (yet) compare to analog day/night.

The bad: Since I manufacture portable systems the day/night feature is a large part of our business. If IP camera sales drop there may be less research and development in true day/night IP. Since the majority of our systems are portable and use IP wireless networks, it could hinder the future quality of cameras on our systems.

Right now we have to use analog to digital encoders for some clients.
