TITLE: Executive Protection Specialist
LOCATION: Dallas, TX
SALARY: $60k-$80K
RELOCATION: No, Must be a local resident
SUMMARY
The Executive Protection Specialist (EPS) serves as a member of a team that is responsible for the security and protective services for the Chairman. The EPS works with other team members to determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. The EPS works under the direction of a Team Leader but is afforded reasonable latitude in determining protective service techniques to accomplish objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
COMPETENCIES/ABILITIES
• Participates in providing protective services programs for the Chairman and family.
• Identifies security-related issues associated with the Chairman’s residence and executive floor of the corporate facility.
• Assists in determining the need for procurement, installation and operational instruction of security equipment required at the residence, vacation homes or offices of executives.
• May contribute to maintaining personal profiles and conduct risk assessments of all personnel covered by protective services.
• Act as a technical expert on projects.
• Contributes to and participates in the protective programs to include personal protection, corporate facilities, residence, airfield security, ground and air transportation, protocol, personal assistance and special projects.
• Identifies groups, individuals and merging technologies that may pose threat to the Chairman.
• Participates in professional forums and maintains currency with trends and developments in the executive protection field.
• Performs tasks from detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Manages on and off-site planning, coordination and execution of plans for visiting dignitaries to include the Board of Directors, CEO's of other organizations, major account customers, political leaders and others.
• Is obedient to the policies, procedures and systems required for maintaining and enhancing the overall Chairman's protective services organizational mission.
• Keeps the Team Leader informed on major accomplishments and all issues and concerns.
• Maintain professional proficiency through successful completion of continuing education programs.
• Chauffer to and from work, business functions and personal appointments as required
• Ability to work unusual, varied hours with short notification times
QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to interface with the Team Leader in clear, consistent, confident and constructive manner
• Understanding of dynamics of interfacing with the Chairman and staff
• Focused, attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in stressful environment in low-key manner
• Good verbal and written skills
• Analytical and reactionary skills to identify suspicious or unusual situations and react accordingly or within prescribed guidelines to ensure the safety of the Chairman and/or guests and employees
• Exemplary driving record
• Maintain mental and physical conditioning necessary to successfully complete assigned tasks.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Protection Agent in corporate protective services
