Ah, that works so well when police are able to respond quickly. How miserably it fails when they are not.

Depends. If the s/o can get a good description, direction of travel, vehicle type and plate if applicable, the police still may be able to make the arrest.

Sure, if they can show up within 10 minutes. The plan fails if they can only show up an hour and 10 minutes later, like what we get here most of the time. Still, if you're alone when you see this what is there to be done except call in?

Being so equipped, I could also "help" him get on the ground on his belly at gunpoint and then into some handcuffs.
