I can see no reason why running through the store is unprofessional and dangerous - none whatsoever.

Why don't some of our security consultants and LP professionals chime in. I know quite a few have been expert witnesses in shoplifting matters....

I reserve my comments on shoplift apprehension videos and senarios for the court room. Besides, rarely are these videos shown from start to finish. They are edited for what the poster wants the viewer to see, and that is not the entire story.

yeah...can we have that "nothing toxic" link removed. All we need is for someone to get fired for thinking they were going to watch an LP video... thats surely NOT LP related...

and LPCap... ummm, I don't know if your trying to start a fight, or you were just being sarcastic, but...

from what I just saw on that youtube video, I would say runing through the store in this case is not a good idea. A jog at most if needed. I can only imagine what happened after that customer reported to a manager.

edit: okay, i see that you are being sarcastic judging by the previous thread you were talking in. I would recommend not trying to start a fight on these forums. Keep it to PMs. I have been a forum Mod and Site manager for another website for about 2-3 years and what your doing is only going to get you into trouble.

I don't see where I am trying to start fights. Others brazenly insult people and you have no problem because they are on the same team as you guys (security guard/cop).

This forum is full cliques - kinda like high school. If you have an opinion which is different then the leaders, you are labeled a troublemaker. The problem lies with people's inabilities to see viewpoints other than their own.

I challenge you - show me where running through a store or parking lot is safe and common procedure/protocol for major security/LP companies.
