Visions421:

Also, this is a link to the 4-page PDF Sanyo put together for it:
http://www.sanyosecurity.com/pdf/cctv/cat/vcr(ntsc)/dsrm810.pdf

That said, I haven't used this product and can't give you any personal thoughts. Guys like Levon and others on here probably have some actual user experience with this line of DVRs, so grab them for more info.

This is a single channel DVR with 30FPS real time record capable... Extremely popular in Casino industry.....

I will suggest getting this unit without hard drive and choose what you want and install it yourself... It is very easy pull out cage and easy to install any size hard drive, as long as it is a PATA (ATA) series.

I can tell you that we recently tested it with (2) 500GB Seagate drive (total of 1TB internal storage) and it worked just fine, even though Sanyo will not sell this system higher than 600GB (using two 300GB drives)... What we will do next is to install (2) 1TB drives and see if we can achieve 2TB internal storage..

If you have any questions, please let me know and thanks.
