I voted for Nylon but it was a tie 'cause also like plain black leather, bit of a shine but I'm not into the high gloss on my gear, unless it's my boots.

Doesn't matter to me since I wear my handcuffs & Mini Mag holder under my suit, not visable.

I prefer Nylon duty gear though our instructors did advise that leather would last longer... I just like the matt finish better.

I originally bought my nylon gear because it was cheaper than a leather setup. But I usually wear what is issued or what the employer tells me to. I like basketweave also because it looks good and doesn't show wear as easily.
